Velma green progress 💜

It’s not much yet, but I’ve sanded and applied the base coat for the head piece! Next I’ll add a few more coats and touch up the gems, then I’ll get to the gold all over and banding on the horns 🙂

Oh my gosh! you are so creative! Those are adorable!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself, My name is Morgan, my internet handle is @yousmelldead. I’m 28 and looking forward to seeing everyone’s posts and cosplays! I’ve recently been working on a few projects. My main cosplay right now is Velma Green the Spider Queen from Grimm Adventures of Billy and Mandy. So far I’ve been getting the head piece together and doing some make up trials, but I’m hoping to begin working on the whole outfit and spider legs here soon!

That outfit is awesome! One of the best parts of the cosplay community is that everyone is so caring and willing to share props and time to help someone’s idea come to life!

I feel like mine currently is so ambitious for a SAHM and the September con is creeping up on me 😂

Where cosplay, craft, and mochi collide

The Mochi Cosplay Collective is a space for cosplayers of all levels to connect, create, and celebrate fandom—powered by mochi, creativity, and community.

This group is about costume-making, character love, photo shoots, and shared inspiration, with Munchi Mochi as the gathering place.

🧵 What this group is for

  • Sharing cosplay builds (WIP, finished, and everything in between)

  • Anime, game, and fandom cosplay inspiration

  • Tips on materials, sewing, armor, wigs, makeup, and props

  • Planning photo shoots, meetups, and themed events

  • Celebrating cosplayers and their characters

🍡 Why mochi?

Mochi represents craft, patience, and transformation—the same values behind cosplay. This group connects food, fandom, and creativity in a way that feels natural, not forced.

👥 Who it’s for

  • Beginner to veteran cosplayers

  • Anime, gaming, and fandom fans

  • Creators who love character-driven expression

  • Anyone curious about cosplay and costume design

All skill levels welcome. WIPs encouraged.
